Civil Engineer (Building Section), Ph.D., is an Associate Professor of Drawing at the Department of Architecture (DIDA) of the University of Florence. Since 2014, he has been the head of the Laboratory of Architectural Informatics - Building Information Modeling (LIA-BIM) at DIDA, and since 2018, the Coordinator of the Second-Level Master's Degree in "BIM for the Management of Collaborative Design Processes in New and Existing Buildings." He is an expert member of the UNI/CT033/GL05 commission "Codification of Construction Products and Processes in Construction" (BIM). His research activity focuses on the topics of drawing, surveying, and information modeling of architecture, with particular regard to H-BIM and the information management of related data.

Architect-PhD, Associate Professor of Architectural Technology at the Department of Architecture (DiDA) of the University of Florence. Since 2001, he has been involved in research and training within the department, initially with the Pierluigi Spadolini Department of Architectural Technologies, then TAeD, and subsequently DiDA of the University of Florence. His research activity is characterized by the development, including through innovative approaches and tools, of topics related to the management of building assets in hospital and social health care facilities, and the themes of accessibility in the use of built environments, with particular attention to vulnerable user groups and the concepts of Design for All.

In 2020, he obtained a Master's Degree in Building Engineering from the University of Florence, graduating with honors (110/110 cum laude). Since 2020, he has been a research fellow focusing on topics related to information modeling. In 2022, he completed a Second-Level Master’s Degree in "BIM for the Management of Collaborative Design Processes in New and Existing Buildings," specializing in BIM and Digital Twin. Since October 2022, he has been a PhD student in the International Doctorate Program in Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Florence. His research activity is centered on BIM and information exchange in various applications within the AECO sector.

In 2021, he obtained a Master's Degree in Architecture from the University of Florence, graduating with honors (110/110 cum laude). In 2022, he was awarded a research fellowship focusing on restoration topics. In 2023, he completed a Second-Level Master’s Degree in "BIM for the Management of Collaborative Design Processes in New and Existing Buildings," specializing in Scan-to-BIM methodologies. He collaborates with BIM service companies. Since October 2023, he has been a research fellow at the Department of Architecture at the University of Florence.

Since then, he has been practicing as a freelance professional, collaborating with engineering firms. In 2023, he completed a Second-Level Master’s Degree in "BIM for the Management of Collaborative Design Processes in New and Existing Buildings," delving into topics related to information exchange in the open IFC format. Since October 2023, he has been a research fellow at the Department of Architecture at the University of Florence.
